Catching Up...

Because there are so many of you that we don't see on a regular basis, here is a random assortment of updates from our goings-on over the past couple of years. Enjoy!!

November 2003:
While living in Alabama from 2003-2004, we decided to go to Disney World for Thanksgiving. 85 Degree weather in November?? Who could ask for a better vacation.
We also took a detour to the Orlando Temple. I think this picture Carl took is breathtaking!

June 2006:

My brother Nathan (also known as Newt in inner circles) got married to his beautiful bride Mandy in the Vernal Temple.

This is me and my crazy cousin Brooke. Brooke married her husband Ethan about a week prior to Nate's wedding.

Nate and Mandy again.

August 2006:
Carl and I spent 2 weeks visiting Sean and Jenny Taylor (our good friends from BYU) in Connecticut. We also spent time in New York City and Boston.

Riding bikes in Central Park

Jenny and I on top of the Empire State Building. The three-hour wait in line and the crowds made it a lot less "romantic" than I envisioned from the movies.

Carl and I ready to go see the musical "Wicked"

Me at the Bronx Zoo.

The four of us at Fenway Park in Boston at a Red Sox Game.

September 2006:
We bought our cute little house in American Fork

July 2007:
We went to Youth Conference at Camp Williams with the youth in our ward. The theme was "Putting on the Armor of God." This is a picture of our troop.

The activities included rapelling from a 45-foot tower. Carl looks like a natural.

I, on the other hand, about had a nervous breakdown while rapelling. It took me about half-an-hour to convince myself to take the first steps. I didn't realize my fear of heights was so intense.
August 2007:
My cousin Sterling got married in Midway, Utah. My Aunt Pam (Sterling's mom) is from Scotland so they had a Scottish theme. It was a beautiful wedding.

Doesn't my brother Isaac look like a stud in a kilt?

This is Sterling, his beautiful bride Amy, my Aunt Pam, Uncle Wayne, Cousin Brooke, and her husband Ethan.

My brother Nate also looks hot in a kilt.

September 2007:
We went on an Alaskan cruise with a random assortment of family members including my mom and step-dad, Carl's parents, Carl's brother Sam and his wife Dana, and Dana's parents.

Carl, my mom Robin, and step-dad Brent on our rafting trip down a fjord.

Carl and I in rainy Skagway next to the same fjord.

Hopefully through this blog I will be able to give regular updates of our lives instead of trying to fit 5 years into one post!

Welcome to Our Blog

I have so much fun reading all of my friends' blogs that I decided to start one for Carl and I. I can't say that our lives are too exciting or spectacular, but we invite you to share in our journey.
